Ever since I was a child I’ve loved the Yorkshire coastline, from the towering cliffs at Bempton and the rocky coves near Flamborough to the timeless fishing villages around Whitby and the windswept openness of Spurn Point. In recent years I’ve painted scenes from the West Coast of Scotland where there is endless inspiration in the wild, rocky shores and stunning fishing villages.
